Win a Safari to Africa Trip Contest

Enter this free trip contest to win a 3-night African walking safari for two in the world famous Kruger National Park in South Africa.

A walking safari is one of the best ways to experience the wildlife of Africa because you become a part of the wilderness as you walk through it. This is the way our ancestors experienced life in the cradle of humanity before all the concrete sprang up to remove us from what was once our natural habitat.

I have been on this wilderness trail three times because once just wasn't enough to take in all the amazing sights and sounds. We saw lion, white and black rhino, elephant, hippo, crocodile and a variety of gazelle not to mention a multitude of insects, butterflies and birds.

Walking next to the river we also came across a crocodile nest complete with its clutch of eggs. That is something unique that you will never see from a safari vehicle.

The wilderness trail that is the prize in this trip contest will provide wildlife photography opportunities for you that you just can't find any other way than by walking through the bush.

The armed ranger that takes you on the trail is very knowledgeable and will identify all the tracks, sounds, animal and bird species that you will see. These walking trails are so popular that they are normally fully booked a year in advance.

I filmed our amazing meeting with lions as we were walking on the safari. Watch what happens...
